A workshop to present and discuss the findings of the study “The Reality of Startups in Palestine and Their Relationship to Public Finance.”
As part of the PFI’s research strategy in partnership with the MAS Institute, which is funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), PFI organized a workshop to present the findings of the study on the startups in Palestine and their relationship to public finance. The workshop brought together all relevant parties in the sector.
The study’s objectives and methodology were presented, along with the key findings and recommendations on financing and tax policies for startup companies, which were drafted by drawing on best practices and experiences from around the world while also taking into account the unique characteristics of the Palestinian context. The value of this study, the dialogue between the public sector and other sectors, and the significance of supporting the entrepreneurial sector and startups were all stressed throughout the interactive discussion among the participants.
