In line with the PPFI’s training plan for the year 2022 and the endeavors to develop the skills and knowledge of public servants whose work requires preparing reports and financial statements in public sector institutions, the PPFI implemented the IPSAS certificate program which took 40 training hours. The PPFI carried out this training in cooperation with Ernst & Young, and in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting (CIPFA).
It should be noted that this training was designed by CIPFA to help understand the foundations of accounting standards in the public sector and how to apply them in the workplace. This certificate qualifies the participants to complete the training on this subject and obtain the specialized IPSAS diploma. All participants in this training will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion” issued by the CIPFA.
An Introductory session about PPFI specialized library was presented, in addition to sharing some books and references related to IPSAS with the trainees.
This training was implemented within the French project to support PPFI (Phase II), funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by Expertise France.
